I don't know what happened, but I'm puzzled and dismayed. I made an entry yesterday, after being away for several months. I visited the blog today, and decided to change the template. I selected a new template. Saved it. Then went to view it and that entry was gone! "What I Am Doing in My Classroom" has disappeared. I had spent several hours working on it, getting the photos, editing and re-editing. I wasn't happy with the way the copy was all chopped up around the photos, and was going to change that today when I lost the entry.
Have any of you experienced this with your own blog? What did you do? Is there a way to get the entry back? Who would I contact about this?
Thanks for your help!

I saw the entry, and didn't have time to click from my RSS feed to leave a comment right away. I was going to tell you how lucky you are to get to work with kids in this capacity and how I would love to do something similar.... But, when I clicked the link.. NADA, gone. It was there at 1:30pm on Sunday and gone at 7pm. Wow... And I could tell that the entry was a lot of work. I really enjoyed the pics of the kids art projects. Glad I got to see it before it went away. I don't know who you would contact about this. Just a thought, check your entries to edit and your archives and see if it just got 'misplaced'. Sorry this happened to you, it really sucks!
ReplyDeleteAssuming that the AOL e-mail address on your profile is correct, I just e-mailed you a copy of your entry. I don't know how it will hold up, but it was still in my RSS reader from earlier (I hadn't gone on to the next entry yet), and I copied/pasted it into an e-mail, Hope that helps!!
ReplyDeletewell, Astaryth, you have saved the day for me... I did some maneuvering, copying, and was able to reclaim my entire entry. THank you!! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI was going to send you a copy from my RSS feed, but see someone else already did that for you. Glad it could be saved.
ReplyDeleteI did read the original entry on the blog, Bea, so cannot understand how it vanished. But it did, and I'm glad people came to the rescue
